Alexia Elkaim founded the Miaou while trying to search for the perfect pair of fitted pants back in 2016. Splitting her time between Paris, New York, and LA, Elkaim would scour flee markets and vintage shops for novel pieces of clothing growing up. Elkaim’s first product with a one off pair of denim pants, which were recreated from a favorite Parisian vintage find of hers.

Elkaim’s body hugging jeans instantly went viral and she quickly gathered a mass following. The brand now offers a large array of pieces that are a retro-romantic vibe. The labels signature trousers are tailored with a high waist and slim leg for a universally flattering fit.
