FASHION TRENDS

My 2021 Fashion Predictions: 

1. LOUNGEWEAR – let’s be real – ever since Covid hit loungewear has been quintessential in everyone’s wardrobe. I think you’ll continue to see chic loungewear and athleisure and also elevated comfy clothes that you could wear out to dinner; such as colorful The Sleeper sets. People are looking for relaxed rather than constricting pieces.
2. BRIGHT COLORS –  Who doesn’t love a pop of color? I’ve been seeing more and more color being worn on Instagram, Pintrest and Tik-Tok and think bright hues will continue to trend into the new year. I think color blocking will be big and colors like cobalt blue and mint green will look really chic together. Definitely looking forward to brightening up my wardrobe;. I’m currently loving pastel greens and bubblegum pinks.
3. FLORALS – Florals are going to get more popular this spring and also leads into the bright colors trend. Since Covid I think people want to dress in a cheerful way, rather than wearing darker colors. 
4. SMALL TIE DETAILS: I’ve been seeing lots of tie around details in skirts, shirts and pants recently and think it will continue to trend. I’m currently obsessed with the tie around look as I think it looks chic, elevated, and flattering. 
5. BAGGY TROUSERS – Again playing into comfort in 2021, wider pants will trend this year and I’m looking forward to pairing them with a tight crop top to show off your waistline.
